This course satisfies the 20-hour Anatomy requirement for the National Yoga Alliance in the USA. A Day at the Spa | Asana and Facials with Jenna Handloff

We all need a little pampering, but don't always have the budget for the fancy treatments our deserving souls crave. Indulge yourself with natural and soothing recipes that you can easily craft in your own home.

During this workshop we will start with a bit of asana movement, deep breathing (pranayama), and a scalp massage during Savasana. After yoga, we will make a DIY foamy facial cleanse, exfoliation, herbal steam, fruity mask, and hydrating lotion, all the things needed to nourish tired and environment stricken skin...naturally.

For the past couple years I have taken up the hobby of making my own skin care. Taking a day to have my own "spa treatment", do a little yoga, pamper my skin, and relax.  I've found it really helps to get my senses going and creative juices flowing!

Please bring 2 towels, one large enough to act as a tent over your head, comfy clothes (yoga clothing, pj's or even a bathrobe), pen and paper. Take home the recipes and skin care products that you make.
