Sarah Weight - July 2012
Sarah Weight is a secret treasure...her teaching style is so solid and professional, she is fun to be around, her communication is so clear and encouraging, she is confident and generous, and her words ring so true with what so many of us come to yoga for...to experience joy and peace more fully. Sarah believes that as human beings, we are not designed to carry the amounts of stress and suffering that we do. So it is through yoga and fitness that she strives to restore the natural flow of energy through they body, making it possible for people to be their truest, healthiest selves.
Sarah owns a non-profit business called Prana Fitness that aims to make holistic fitness affordable and within reach for all individuals.

Nicole Landrus - MAY 2012
Nicole Landrus is the teacher of the Month for May, for so many reasons. Nicole is one of Root Yoga's very first dedicated students, who fell in love with Yoga and its ability to heal her body, mind, heart & spirit. Her dedication to her practice led her to complete the Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training last year in Santa Monica, CA, and continue her practice with Ana Forrest this past March. Alongside recent FYFTT graduate, Sarah Corcoran, Nicole will be leading the Intro to Forrest Yoga Series, "Summer Strengthening" starting May 5th (see below for more details). Nicole is also Root's Studio Assistant, and brings her full participation, character and spirit to all of our events. Her teaching is honest, grounded, lighthearted and fun. She is a true Root Yogi, and we absolutely love her energy. If you have never taken a Forrest Yoga Class, Nicole is an incredible teacher who will introduce you to some new things. Mix it up!
